This blog entry is welcome for useful competition idea's. If you're lucky enough to have your idea chosen, a selected photograph of yours will be featured in this group for a month. Anyone is in for a chance!

July's competition was: High Dynamic Range Portraits. I thought this would be a simple, yet effective, chance for anyone for contribute to. No time like the present for being creative!

August's competition was: Beautiful Places around the world. I thought this would be a good idea, because you can show everyone where you live!

September's competition is: Well manipulated photos. Everyone has computer skills, believe it or not.

I would advise members (who are wanting to keep active), to keep an eye on this blog entry each month.

Thank you for visiting #show-us. As said in the description of the submission of this group,

"Reaching inner selves through the use of photography & photographic manipulation. Most Groups on deviantART only provide opportunities for either 'Photography' or 'Photographic Manipulation' but I still haven't stumbled upon both these genres' together, in one group. This group will provide advise, inspiration, tutorials, & so forth, on both these two genres' (with help of the deviantART community, there will be a wide range of answered questions with different opinions, because Photography is a whole range of genres' labeled as one). I hope to gain a lot of support through this group, since I've had a hard time finding the right group for myself, & I'm still finding the right group to contribute too!"

The main aim for this group is to, have fun while taking photographs & processing photographs! I'm sure all of us can do this.

  For starters, I'm going to be setting up a 'Quote of the Week' to inspire people, (I will end up having competitions for quotes from members).

  I most defiantly will be taking submissions for photographs. (Remember, this group does accept Photographic Manipulations).

  I'm happy to receive any helpful ideas, seen as this group is only just getting started.

If you're wanting to have this group to do well, please remember to invite people (friends, watchers, ect..)

I just wanted to mention, as soon as we have 100 members, #show-us will have contest up & running. At this point in time, I have a few ideas for contests. In the future, I may need more ideas (brainstorm), so if you want to voice some contest ideas, go ahead in this blog!
